Simple Path Media (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates simplepathmedia.com. This page explains how we handle your information when you visit this site, contact us about our services, or interact with a follow-up system we run on behalf of a client.

What we collect

• Contact information. Your name, email address, phone number, or business name when you fill out a form or reach out directly.
• Usage data. Basic information about how you use this site, such as pages visited, browser type, and referring URLs, collected through standard web analytics.
• Communications. Messages, project details, call notes, or files you share with us during conversations or discovery calls.

How we use it

• Respond to inquiries and project requests
• Send proposals, invoices, and project-related communications
• Send text messages if you have opted in (see the SMS section below)
• Improve this website and our services
• Meet legal and financial obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

Third-party tools

We use a small set of tools to run the business. Depending on how you interact with us, your information may pass through:

• Google Workspace and Gmail for email and scheduling
• HubSpot for contact and pipeline records
• Resend for transactional email delivery
• Twilio for text message delivery
• Instantly for outbound business email
• Stripe for payment processing
• QuickBooks for invoicing and accounting
• n8n, hosted on our own server, for workflow automation

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We share only what is necessary to deliver our services. Where we connect Google services to our own tools, that access is to our own accounts; we never access your Google account.

Systems we run for clients

Some of our work runs on behalf of client businesses: for example, a text sent back when a call to that business goes unanswered, or follow-up messages after you submit a form on their site. In those cases the client business is the sender and decides how your information is used. We process it on their behalf and do not use it for our own marketing.

Text messages (SMS)

You may receive texts from us when you check the SMS consent box on a form on this site, or from a client business when you contact them through a system we run. All messages are transactional or follow-up to something you initiated.

How we protect your number

• Your phone number is stored securely and is never sold, rented, or shared for marketing purposes
• For client systems, your number is shared only with the specific business you contacted, to handle that request
• Message logs are kept for compliance and troubleshooting only
• Carriers such as AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages

How to opt out

• Reply STOP to any message to stop further texts
• Reply HELP to any message for support contact information
• Message and data rates may apply based on your carrier plan

We use Twilio to send and manage text messages. Your phone number goes to Twilio solely to deliver messages you agreed to receive. Twilio’s privacy policy is at twilio.com/legal/privacy.

Cookies

This site may use basic cookies for analytics and site functionality. We do not use cookies for advertising or behavioral tracking. You can disable cookies in your browser without affecting your ability to browse the site.

Data retention

We keep contact and project information for as long as needed to deliver our services and meet legal requirements, including tax records, which we keep for at least seven years per IRS guidance.

If you opt out of text messages, we stop sending them promptly. Your number may stay in our records so we can honor that opt-out and continue any project communication through other channels.

Your rights

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
